No Yard Sale Show Up Guarantee Policy

Effective Date: August 8, 2026

The No Yard Sale Show Up Guarantee ("Show Up Guarantee" or "Guarantee") is a marketplace accountability program developed by Prop Up Media LLC to help create a marketplace where buyers and sellers can confidently schedule Meet Ups knowing that everyone is expected to honor their commitments, communicate honestly, and respect one another's time.

The Show Up Guarantee is designed to reduce no-shows, encourage timely communication, reward reliable participation, and improve trust throughout the No Yard Sale marketplace.

The Show Up Guarantee is not insurance, a warranty, an escrow service, or a guarantee that any transaction will occur. Rather, it is a marketplace accountability program that uses Appointment Hold Amounts and appointment verification tools to encourage good-faith participation in scheduled Meet Ups.

This Policy forms part of the No Yard Sale Terms & Conditions and should be read together with the Payment & Wallet Policy, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and other applicable Platform policies.

1. Purpose

The purpose of the Show Up Guarantee is to:

  • encourage buyers and sellers to honor scheduled Meet Ups;
  • reduce missed appointments and unnecessary travel;
  • promote honest communication between marketplace participants;
  • reward reliable participation;
  • increase confidence in local marketplace transactions;
  • protect users' time and effort;
  • improve the overall marketplace experience.

The Show Up Guarantee is intended to encourage accountability—not to penalize users acting in good faith.

Prop Up Media LLC encourages users to communicate promptly whenever unexpected circumstances arise.

2. Definitions

For purposes of this Policy:

Appointment Hold Amount means the temporary Wallet hold required to participate in eligible Meet Ups.

Attending User means a participant who satisfies the attendance and verification requirements described in this Policy.

Buyer means the user seeking to purchase an item or service.

Extension Request means a request submitted through the Platform asking to delay a scheduled Meet Up.

Good Faith Communication means timely and honest communication through the Platform regarding scheduling changes, delays, emergencies, or other circumstances affecting a Meet Up.

Meet Up means an in-person appointment scheduled through the No Yard Sale Platform for the purpose of inspecting, buying, selling, donating, or exchanging an item or service.

No Show means a participant who fails to satisfy the attendance requirements established by this Policy without an approved extension or another qualifying exception.

Seller means the user offering an item, donation, or service.

Show Up Guarantee means the marketplace accountability program administered under this Policy.

3. Eligibility

Participation in the Show Up Guarantee is available only for eligible Meet Ups scheduled through the No Yard Sale Platform.

To participate, users may be required to:

  • maintain an eligible Account in good standing;
  • have an active Wallet;
  • maintain sufficient eligible Wallet funds for the applicable Appointment Hold Amount;
  • schedule the Meet Up through the Platform;
  • comply with the Terms & Conditions and all applicable Platform policies;
  • complete any required verification steps.

Meeting these eligibility requirements does not guarantee that a user will receive benefits under the Show Up Guarantee.

Eligibility may also depend upon compliance with this Policy and the circumstances surrounding the scheduled Meet Up.

4. Appointment Hold Amount

When an eligible Meet Up is confirmed through the Platform, each participating user authorizes the applicable Appointment Hold Amount.

The current Appointment Hold Amount is displayed within the Platform before appointment confirmation.

The Appointment Hold Amount:

  • is configurable by Prop Up Media LLC;
  • may change over time;
  • is not a scheduling fee;
  • is not insurance;
  • is not an escrow deposit;
  • is not payment for the listed item or service;
  • supports participation in the Show Up Guarantee.

Both participants may have an Appointment Hold Amount associated with the same Meet Up.

Users participating in multiple Meet Ups may have multiple Appointment Hold Amounts reserved simultaneously.

Additional information regarding Wallet holds is available in the Payment & Wallet Policy.

5. Confirming a Meet Up

A Meet Up becomes eligible for the Show Up Guarantee only after all required confirmation steps have been completed.

Depending upon Platform functionality, confirmation may require:

  • appointment acceptance by both participants;
  • successful placement of Appointment Hold Amounts;
  • Wallet eligibility;
  • required account verification;
  • compliance with Platform requirements.

Until these steps have been completed, a requested appointment is not considered a confirmed Meet Up for purposes of the Show Up Guarantee.

6. Arrival Verification

To help prevent fraud and accurately document attendance, eligible Meet Ups may require one or more arrival verification steps.

Depending on available Platform features, arrival verification may include:

  • selecting "I Have Arrived" within the Platform;
  • device location verification;
  • proximity verification confirming arrival near the agreed Meet Up location;
  • secure verification code exchange between participants;
  • confirmation of attendance through other fraud prevention measures introduced by the Platform.

Where verification codes are used, each participant may receive a unique code that must be exchanged and confirmed with the other participant through the Platform.

Failure to complete required arrival verification may affect eligibility under the Show Up Guarantee.

Prop Up Media LLC reserves the right to introduce additional verification methods as technology and fraud prevention practices evolve.

7. Appointment Timeline

The Platform may maintain an appointment activity history to improve transparency and assist with dispute resolution.

Depending upon available features, an appointment timeline may include events such as:

  • appointment requested;
  • appointment accepted;
  • Appointment Hold Amount placed;
  • reminder notifications;
  • extension requests;
  • extension approvals or denials;
  • arrival confirmation;
  • verification code exchange;
  • payment request;
  • payment completion;
  • cash transaction recorded;
  • appointment completed;
  • cancellation;
  • dispute initiation.

The appointment timeline is intended to assist users and Prop Up Media LLC in understanding the sequence of events associated with a Meet Up.

Timeline information does not automatically determine the outcome of a dispute but may be considered together with other available evidence.

8. Arriving for Your Meet Up

Users are expected to arrive at the agreed Meet Up location at the scheduled appointment time.

No Yard Sale recognizes that minor delays may occur during normal travel.

The current grace period, if applicable, is displayed within the Platform and forms part of the scheduled Meet Up.

A participant who arrives within the applicable grace period and completes any required arrival verification will generally be considered to have arrived on time for purposes of the Show Up Guarantee.

Users should make reasonable efforts to:

  • leave with sufficient travel time;
  • consider expected traffic conditions;
  • account for weather conditions;
  • plan for parking or transportation;
  • communicate promptly if unexpected circumstances arise.

9. Waiting Requirement

A participant seeking protection under the Show Up Guarantee must remain reasonably available at the agreed Meet Up location for the minimum waiting period displayed within the Platform unless:

  • both users mutually agree to another arrangement through the Platform;
  • the appointment is cancelled by mutual agreement;
  • the Platform otherwise indicates that waiting is no longer required.

Leaving the Meet Up location before satisfying the applicable waiting requirement may affect eligibility under the Show Up Guarantee.

The waiting period helps ensure that users experiencing short, unexpected delays still have an opportunity to complete the appointment.

10. Extension Requests

No Yard Sale recognizes that unexpected circumstances sometimes occur.

Where supported, users may request an extension through the Platform.

An Extension Request may include:

  • the requested delay;
  • an optional explanation;
  • updated estimated arrival information;
  • other information supported by the Platform.

The receiving participant may:

  • accept the request;
  • decline the request;
  • propose an alternative time where supported.

No participant is obligated to approve an Extension Request.

If an Extension Request is accepted through the Platform, the revised appointment time becomes the official Meet Up time for purposes of the Show Up Guarantee.

If an Extension Request is declined or expires without acceptance, the original appointment time remains in effect.

11. Good Faith Communication

The Show Up Guarantee is built upon honest communication.

Users are strongly encouraged to communicate promptly through the Platform whenever they experience unexpected delays or circumstances affecting a scheduled Meet Up.

Examples include:

  • traffic accidents;
  • vehicle breakdowns;
  • severe weather;
  • road closures;
  • family emergencies;
  • medical emergencies;
  • unexpected workplace obligations;
  • other unforeseen circumstances.

Communication should occur as soon as reasonably practical.

Messages exchanged through the Platform may be considered during any subsequent review of the Meet Up.

Communication outside the Platform may not be available to Prop Up Media LLC and therefore may not be considered when administering the Show Up Guarantee.

12. Good Faith Exceptions

The Show Up Guarantee is intended to encourage responsible participation rather than punish users acting in good faith.

When both participants communicate honestly through available Platform tools and work together to resolve unexpected scheduling issues, Prop Up Media LLC may determine that forfeiture of an Appointment Hold Amount is not appropriate.

Examples may include:

  • both users agree to delay the Meet Up;
  • both users agree to reschedule;
  • both users agree to relocate the Meet Up;
  • unexpected road closures;
  • severe weather conditions;
  • verified vehicle breakdowns;
  • medical emergencies;
  • other extraordinary circumstances determined by Prop Up Media LLC.

Each situation is evaluated individually.

Good Faith Exceptions are not automatic and remain subject to review under this Policy.

13. Cancellations

Users should cancel Meet Ups as soon as reasonably possible if they know they cannot attend.

The Platform may establish cancellation windows for purposes of the Show Up Guarantee.

The applicable cancellation rules will be displayed within the Platform at the time the Meet Up is confirmed.

Depending upon the circumstances, a cancellation may result in:

  • release of both Appointment Hold Amounts;
  • continued eligibility for a rescheduled Meet Up;
  • forfeiture of an Appointment Hold Amount;
  • another outcome described by the Platform.

Mutually agreed cancellations completed through the Platform will generally be treated more favorably than appointments that are abandoned without communication.

Repeated cancellations may result in loss of eligibility for the Show Up Guarantee or other Platform restrictions.

14. No-Show Determinations

A participant may be determined to be a No Show when that participant, without an approved extension or qualifying exception:

  • fails to arrive within the applicable appointment window;
  • fails to complete required arrival verification;
  • leaves before satisfying required attendance requirements;
  • abandons the Meet Up;
  • fails to communicate through the Platform;
  • otherwise fails to honor the confirmed Meet Up.

No single factor automatically determines whether a participant is considered a No Show.

Prop Up Media LLC evaluates the circumstances using available information.

15. Release of Appointment Hold Amounts

The outcome of an Appointment Hold Amount depends upon the circumstances of the Meet Up.

Examples include:

Both Participants Attend

If both participants satisfy the attendance requirements, each participant's Appointment Hold Amount is released in accordance with the Payment & Wallet Policy.

Release of Appointment Hold Amounts does not indicate that:

  • a purchase occurred;
  • a sale occurred;
  • either participant was satisfied with the transaction;
  • either participant was obligated to complete the transaction.

Approved Extension

If an Extension Request is accepted through the Platform, the Show Up Guarantee continues using the revised appointment time.

Appointment Hold Amounts remain subject to this Policy until the Meet Up concludes.

Mutual Cancellation

Where both users mutually agree to cancel or reschedule through the Platform before the applicable deadlines, Appointment Hold Amounts will generally be released without forfeiture unless otherwise stated within the Platform.

Failure to Attend

If one participant is determined to have failed to honor the Meet Up without a qualifying exception, Prop Up Media LLC may administer the Appointment Hold Amounts in accordance with this Policy and the Payment & Wallet Policy.

Investigation Pending

If a dispute or fraud investigation is initiated, Appointment Hold Amounts may remain temporarily restricted until the review has been completed.

16. No Obligation to Complete a Transaction

Attending a Meet Up satisfies only the attendance requirements of the Show Up Guarantee.

Neither buyers nor sellers are obligated to complete a transaction simply because they attended the Meet Up.

Buyers remain responsible for inspecting items before purchase.

Sellers remain free to accept or reject offers.

The Show Up Guarantee applies solely to participation in the scheduled Meet Up and does not guarantee the outcome of any marketplace transaction.

17. Respect for One Another's Time

The Show Up Guarantee reflects one of No Yard Sale's core marketplace values:

Respect for one another's time.

Every confirmed Meet Up represents a commitment made by two people.

Reliable participation helps reduce unnecessary travel, strengthens trust within the marketplace, and improves the experience for everyone.

Users who communicate honestly, arrive as agreed, and treat one another respectfully contribute to a stronger and more reliable No Yard Sale community.

18. Evidence and Dispute Review

If a Meet Up is disputed, Prop Up Media LLC may review information reasonably available to help determine how the Show Up Guarantee should be administered.

Available information may include, where applicable:

  • appointment confirmations;
  • appointment timeline events;
  • Extension Requests;
  • cancellation records;
  • Platform messages;
  • arrival confirmations;
  • verification code activity;
  • location verification records;
  • GPS or proximity information, where available and authorized;
  • timestamps;
  • Wallet activity;
  • transaction history;
  • payment activity;
  • account history;
  • prior Show Up Guarantee participation;
  • reports submitted by participating users;
  • fraud detection indicators;
  • technical logs;
  • other information reasonably relevant to the appointment.

The availability of evidence may vary depending on device capabilities, Platform functionality, user permissions, and other operational factors.

Prop Up Media LLC may request additional information from one or both participants before making a determination.

Failure to reasonably cooperate with a review may affect eligibility under the Show Up Guarantee.

19. Fraud Prevention

The Show Up Guarantee depends upon honest participation.

Users may not attempt to obtain benefits through deception, manipulation, or abuse of the Platform.

Examples of prohibited conduct include, but are not limited to:

  • submitting false no-show claims;
  • falsely claiming arrival;
  • GPS spoofing or location manipulation;
  • sharing or falsifying verification codes;
  • creating fake Meet Ups;
  • coordinating fraudulent appointments;
  • using multiple Accounts to manipulate outcomes;
  • appointment farming;
  • submitting false evidence;
  • altering screenshots or records;
  • attempting to interfere with Platform verification systems;
  • abusing Wallet functionality;
  • circumventing Platform safeguards.

Prop Up Media LLC may use automated systems, fraud detection tools, identity verification, device analysis, behavioral analysis, and manual review to investigate suspected abuse.

Fraudulent activity may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of Platform access.

20. Abuse of the Show Up Guarantee

Repeated misuse of the Show Up Guarantee may result in enforcement action even when individual appointments would not independently justify suspension.

Examples of abuse include:

  • repeated last-minute cancellations;
  • repeated failures to attend Meet Ups;
  • repeated refusal to cooperate with investigations;
  • abuse of Extension Requests;
  • repeated scheduling without intent to attend;
  • repeated attempts to manipulate Appointment Hold Amounts;
  • abuse of dispute procedures;
  • harassment through appointment scheduling.

Prop Up Media LLC may temporarily or permanently remove a user's eligibility to participate in the Show Up Guarantee where continued participation threatens the integrity of the Platform.

21. Investigations

Prop Up Media LLC reserves the right to investigate any Meet Up, Appointment Hold Amount, Wallet transaction, dispute, or other activity reasonably related to the administration of the Show Up Guarantee.

During an investigation we may:

  • temporarily restrict Appointment Hold Amounts;
  • temporarily delay release of Wallet funds;
  • request identity verification;
  • request additional documentation;
  • review Platform activity;
  • review communication history;
  • review fraud indicators;
  • consult Payment Processors where appropriate;
  • cooperate with law enforcement or governmental authorities where required by law.

Investigations will be conducted in good faith using information reasonably available to the Company.

22. Company Decisions

Show Up Guarantee determinations are made using the information reasonably available at the time of review.

Not every appointment will have complete or perfect evidence.

Accordingly, Prop Up Media LLC evaluates each matter individually using available facts, Platform records, user communications, verification data, and other relevant information.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, decisions regarding eligibility, Appointment Hold Amount administration, fraud determinations, and dispute resolution are made in the reasonable discretion of Prop Up Media LLC.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights users may have under applicable law.

23. Norman’s Trust Score and Badge System

No Yard Sale may maintain a marketplace reputation and participation system known as Norman’s Trust Score.

Norman’s Trust Score is intended to help users understand and build their marketplace reputation through reliable, honest, safe, and respectful participation.

The Platform may also award badges that recognize qualifying marketplace achievements, verification milestones, positive participation, and Meet Up reliability.

23.1 Show Up Guarantee Activity

Participation in the Show Up Guarantee may affect Norman’s Trust Score and badge eligibility.

Qualifying positive activity may include:

  • honoring confirmed Meet Ups;
  • arriving within the applicable appointment window;
  • completing required arrival verification;
  • successfully exchanging and confirming verification codes;
  • communicating delays in good faith through the Platform;
  • honoring an accepted Extension Request;
  • completing Meet Ups without a confirmed policy violation;
  • establishing a consistent history of reliable marketplace participation.

Activity that may negatively affect Norman’s Trust Score or feature eligibility may include:

  • confirmed no-shows;
  • repeated last-minute cancellations;
  • abandoning confirmed Meet Ups;
  • failing required arrival verification without a qualifying exception;
  • abusing Extension Requests;
  • submitting false appointment claims;
  • manipulating location or verification systems;
  • engaging in fraudulent or coordinated appointment activity;
  • repeated or material violations of this Policy.

An allegation, report, or unresolved dispute does not necessarily constitute a confirmed violation. Where practical, negative Trust Score consequences based on a disputed Meet Up will be applied only after the relevant review is completed.

23.2 Good-Faith Scheduling Changes

A cancellation, delay, relocation, or rescheduling request will not necessarily have a negative effect on Norman’s Trust Score.

When users communicate honestly through the Platform and mutually agree to revise or cancel a Meet Up using supported Platform tools, No Yard Sale may treat the event as neutral rather than as a failure to honor the appointment.

No positive Trust Score credit is guaranteed merely because users cancelled, rescheduled, or exchanged messages.

23.3 Trust Score Factors

Norman’s Trust Score may consider relevant Platform activity, including:

  • verified Meet Up outcomes;
  • marketplace transaction history;
  • eligible ratings and reviews;
  • account verification;
  • confirmed policy compliance or violations;
  • fraud prevention findings;
  • dispute outcomes;
  • other marketplace activity reasonably related to user trust, reliability, or safety.

No Yard Sale may adjust the factors, weights, thresholds, levels, and eligibility rules used by Norman’s Trust Score as the Platform evolves.

The exact internal calculations, fraud signals, security rules, and scoring weights may remain confidential to protect users, prevent manipulation, and preserve Platform security.

23.4 New and Infrequent Users

A limited Trust Score history does not necessarily indicate that a user is untrustworthy.

New users and users with limited qualifying activity may be identified using neutral descriptions reflecting that insufficient marketplace history is available.

No Yard Sale may require additional verification or information before providing certain trust-based features, regardless of a user’s current Trust Score.

23.5 Badges

The Platform may award visible badges for qualifying achievements or positive marketplace participation.

Badges may recognize activity such as:

  • reliable Meet Up attendance;
  • positive buyer or seller participation;
  • completed verification;
  • successful donation exchanges;
  • marketplace milestones;
  • sustained positive ratings;
  • other achievements established by No Yard Sale.

Badges are informational Platform features. They are not warranties, certifications, endorsements, guarantees of future behavior, or guarantees that a user is safe, honest, qualified, or legally compliant.

Users must continue to exercise independent judgment when interacting or transacting with others.

A badge may be denied, suspended, corrected, restored, or revoked when:

  • it was awarded due to an operational error;
  • the qualifying activity is reversed;
  • fraud or manipulation is confirmed;
  • the user no longer meets a clearly disclosed continuing requirement;
  • action is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform.

23.6 Feature Eligibility

Norman’s Trust Score, badge history, and underlying marketplace activity may be considered as factors when determining eligibility for certain Platform features or benefits.

These may include:

  • participation in the Show Up Guarantee;
  • the number of simultaneous Meet Ups permitted;
  • trust-related badges;
  • verification requirements;
  • marketplace privileges;
  • future trust-based features or benefits.

Norman’s Trust Score is only one factor that may be considered. No Yard Sale may also consider account history, verification status, policy compliance, fraud indicators, security information, severity and recency of relevant activity, and other information reasonably related to marketplace integrity.

No Yard Sale will not intentionally use legally protected personal characteristics as Norman’s Trust Score factors.

23.7 Transparency and Corrections

Where supported, users may be provided with:

  • their current Norman’s Trust Score or Trust Level;
  • earned badges;
  • general categories of activity that may affect their marketplace reputation;
  • guidance for improving positive marketplace participation;
  • a method for reporting a suspected error.

Users may contact No Yard Sale when they reasonably believe a Trust Score event, badge decision, or underlying marketplace record is materially inaccurate.

No Yard Sale may request identity verification, supporting information, or other reasonable cooperation before reviewing a request.

When an error is confirmed, No Yard Sale may correct the underlying record, reverse an applicable Trust Score effect, restore or revoke a badge, or take another appropriate corrective action.

23.8 Privacy and Confidential Information

Public Trust Score displays and badges will not intentionally reveal private information such as:

  • Wallet balances;
  • Appointment Hold Amounts;
  • payment information;
  • identity documents;
  • private dispute details;
  • internal moderation notes;
  • precise location history;
  • private fraud signals;
  • account-security information.

Information used to administer Norman’s Trust Score is handled in accordance with the No Yard Sale Privacy Policy.

23.9 No Guarantee

Norman’s Trust Score and badges are based on available Platform activity and may not reflect conduct occurring outside No Yard Sale.

A high Trust Score, positive Trust Level, verification indicator, or earned badge does not guarantee that a user:

  • will attend a future Meet Up;
  • will complete a transaction;
  • has accurately described an item or service;
  • is free from risk;
  • will comply with all laws or Platform policies;
  • will behave consistently in the future.

Users remain responsible for exercising appropriate care, inspecting items, protecting personal information, meeting safely, and deciding whether to complete a transaction.

23.10 Changes to the System

Prop Up Media LLC may update Norman’s Trust Score, Trust Levels, badges, qualification rules, scoring factors, fraud protections, displays, and related features as the Platform evolves.

Materially different privacy practices will be addressed through the Privacy Policy or other notices where required by applicable law.

Changes to Norman’s Trust Score do not alter the administration of an Appointment Hold Amount for a Meet Up that was already completed or under active review unless correction is necessary to resolve fraud, an operational error, or another circumstance permitted under applicable Platform policies.

24. Future Improvements

The Show Up Guarantee is expected to evolve as No Yard Sale continues to develop.

Prop Up Media LLC may introduce additional features intended to improve marketplace accountability and appointment reliability, including:

  • enhanced arrival verification;
  • improved geolocation technology;
  • expanded fraud detection systems;
  • artificial intelligence-assisted review tools;
  • enhanced appointment timelines;
  • additional communication tools;
  • improved appointment reminders;
  • expanded identity verification;
  • additional Wallet protections;
  • other marketplace safety enhancements.

The introduction of new features does not necessarily require amendment of this Policy unless required by applicable law.

25. Relationship to Other Policies

This Show Up Guarantee Policy should be read together with the:

  • Terms & Conditions;
  • Payment & Wallet Policy;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Community Guidelines;
  • Prohibited Items Policy;
  • and other Platform policies.

Where this Policy addresses appointment participation, attendance, and Appointment Hold Amount administration, it supplements the Terms & Conditions and Payment & Wallet Policy.

If a conflict exists regarding general legal interpretation, the Terms & Conditions shall control unless this Policy expressly provides otherwise.

26. Changes to This Policy

Prop Up Media LLC may modify this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • Platform functionality;
  • Wallet services;
  • fraud prevention practices;
  • appointment verification methods;
  • legal requirements;
  • marketplace operations;
  • business practices.

Material changes will become effective on the Effective Date identified within the updated Policy.

Where required by applicable law, users will receive appropriate notice before material changes become effective.

Continued participation in eligible Meet Ups after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Norman's Reminder

Every Meet Up starts with a promise.

When someone schedules time to meet with you, they're trusting that you'll be there—and you're placing that same trust in them.

Arrive on time whenever you can. If something unexpected happens, communicate through No Yard Sale as soon as possible. A quick message and a little courtesy can save everyone time and frustration.

The Show Up Guarantee isn't about penalties—it's about helping neighbors keep their commitments, building confidence in every Meet Up, and creating a marketplace where people can count on one another.

Thank you for helping make No Yard Sale a community built on trust, accountability, and respect.

28. Payment-Confirmed Meetup Completion

Arrival codes confirm the parties' in-person arrival steps; they do not prove that money changed hands or that a sale occurred. For cash, the seller and buyer independently enter the received and paid amounts. A mismatch leaves the payment unresolved. For wallet payment, the seller sends a request and the buyer pays from available wallet funds; insufficient funds must be added before payment can complete. A meetup or sale is completed only after the applicable payment record is confirmed. Appointment Hold Amounts remain separate from purchase money and are released or forfeited only under the Show-Up Guarantee rules.
