No Yard Sale Prohibited Items & Services Policy
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Our Commitment to a Safe Marketplace
No Yard Sale is committed to providing a marketplace where neighbors can confidently buy, sell, donate, and connect with one another.
Creating a trustworthy marketplace means establishing clear standards regarding the items, services, and advertisements that may be offered through the Platform.
This Prohibited Items & Services Policy explains what may not be listed, offered, advertised, donated, requested, promoted, or otherwise made available through No Yard Sale.
This Policy applies to:
- Marketplace Listings
- Donation Listings
- Service Listings
- Business and Marketer Accounts
- Advertisements
- Promoted Listings
- Messages used to facilitate transactions
- User-generated content
- Future marketplace features offered by the Platform
This Policy works together with our:
- Terms & Conditions
- Community Guidelines
- Payment & Wallet Policy
- Show Up Guarantee Policy
- Privacy Policy
- and other Platform policies.
Because laws and marketplace risks change over time, this Policy is not intended to be an exhaustive list of every prohibited item or service.
Prop Up Media LLC reserves the right to prohibit any item, service, advertisement, or activity that we reasonably believe presents legal, safety, security, operational, or reputational risks to the Platform or its users.
A Message from Norman
Hi neighbor!
Most people come to No Yard Sale looking for great deals—not dangerous surprises.
This policy isn't here to make buying and selling harder.
It's here to help protect our community.
If something is illegal, unsafe, deceptive, or puts people at unnecessary risk, it probably doesn't belong on No Yard Sale.
When in doubt...
Ask before you post.

Every user is responsible for ensuring that the items, services, advertisements, and other content they submit comply with:
- applicable federal laws;
- state laws;
- local laws;
- these Community Standards;
- all No Yard Sale policies.
You are responsible for determining whether you legally own an item and whether you have the legal authority to sell, donate, advertise, or provide it.
Listing an item on No Yard Sale does not mean the Platform has reviewed, approved, or verified its legality.

It's time to rewrite your Listing.
Honest Listings build stronger communities.

No single factor automatically determines the outcome of a review.
Each matter is evaluated individually.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all future categories and Platform features remain subject to the principles described in this Policy.
Prop Up Media LLC may establish additional item-specific rules, approval requirements, or restrictions for future marketplace categories without fundamentally changing the intent of this Policy.

Prop Up Media LLC may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
- applicable laws;
- marketplace risks;
- fraud prevention practices;
- Platform features;
- Business Account services;

Norman's Final Reminder
Every safe marketplace begins with good decisions.
Before you create a Listing, ask yourself:
- Is it legal?
- Is it safe?
- Is it honestly described?
- Would I feel comfortable if a family member bought this item from me?
If the answer to any of those questions is "no" or "I'm not sure," take a moment to ask us before posting.
By choosing honesty, safety, and common sense, you're helping build a marketplace where neighbors can buy, sell, donate, and connect with confidence.
Thank you for helping keep No Yard Sale a place where trust always comes first.
No signs. No tables. No yard sale.
