Your Privacy Matters

Prop Up Media LLC is committed to protecting your personal information while providing a secure, trustworthy, and user-friendly local marketplace through No Yard Sale.

We continually evaluate our privacy and security practices as the Platform evolves and appreciate the trust you place in us when using our Services.

Norman’s Trust Score

No Yard Sale may use relevant marketplace participation, verified appointment outcomes, ratings and reviews, account-verification events, and confirmed policy or safety outcomes to calculate Norman’s Trust Score and award badges. Unverified reports and unresolved disputes are not treated as final violations.

We do not use protected personal characteristics, unrelated private communications, wallet balances, Appointment Hold Amounts, identity documents, or precise location history as public Trust Score information. Operational location evidence is limited to what is reasonably necessary for appointment verification, security, review, and legal obligations.

Trust Score event history, internal fraud signals, administrative notes, and review evidence are access-controlled and retained only as reasonably necessary for marketplace trust, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, legal compliance, and audit requirements. Users may request review of eligible Trust Score activity from their account.

Safe Meetup Location data

When you choose to search nearby public meetup locations, No Yard Sale processes the location coordinates you share or the city, ZIP code, or address you enter and sends the search area to Google Places through our server. We use the response to show eligible public places. We retain a selected Google Place ID and, when an appointment is confirmed, limited location details needed for directions, transaction records, and arrival verification. We do not create a permanent copied directory from Google Places search results. See the Google Privacy Policy for information about Google processing.

25. 2026 Product Data Practices Update

25.1 Ask Norman AI Data

When Ask Norman is available, No Yard Sale processes the prompt, recent conversation context, generated answer, cited sources, model and token usage, response timing, tool activity, and safety/diagnostic results. An authorized server process may retrieve the minimum account data needed to answer an account-specific question. Prompts and context may be sent to No Yard Sale's AI service provider. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, government IDs, or unnecessary sensitive information. Provider handling is subject to the provider's privacy and data-control terms. No Yard Sale may retain redacted diagnostics and usage records for safety, quality, abuse prevention, and cost control.

25.2 Safe Meetup and Location Data

Safe Meetup search may process device-provided approximate location, a city, ZIP code, address, search radius, place identifiers, selected location, distance, and Google Maps/Places result data. Arrival verification may process precise device location when the user actively invokes that feature and grants permission. No Yard Sale does not continuously track location for Safe Meetup search or arrival verification. Meetup addresses remain restricted until the appointment is accepted and confirmed under the product rules.

25.3 Messages and System Events

Removing a conversation removes or hides that participant's copy. User messages are eligible for permanent deletion after both participants remove the conversation and the configured retention period expires (currently 60 days after the final appointment event). Retention may be extended for unresolved payments, disputes, reports, safety investigations, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or preservation holds. System-generated appointment, arrival, payment, moderation, notification, and audit events may be retained separately.

25.4 Support Channels and Attachments

Authenticated support is handled in-app. Guest support may use Google Workspace/Gmail. No Yard Sale may process contact details, message content, case number, topic, related record identifiers, routing data, timestamps, delivery data, reply history, and attachment metadata. Attachments and message content are retained as needed to resolve, secure, audit, and comply with legal obligations for the case. Users should not send passwords, payment credentials, government IDs, or unnecessary sensitive information.

25.5 Provider Categories, Deletion, and Authoritative Records

Provider categories include cloud hosting and databases, authentication, payments, maps and places, email, push notifications, file storage, AI processing, and operational security. Account deletion removes or de-identifies data according to the service's deletion workflow, but transaction, payment, safety, dispute, moderation, tax, fraud-prevention, audit, and legal records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required. Official policies and account records control over AI or Help Center summaries.
